With a torque of 2.2 kgf·cm and wow & flutter under 0.08%, the MTT 990 delivers punchy dynamics and unwavering speed precision. PRECISION TONEARM AND CARTRIDGE
The 10-inch -J-shaped tonearm is crafted from a specially alloyed aluminium tube for optimal rigidity and low resonance. Its internal wiring, supplied by Mogami (Japan), and carbon steel bearing balls ensure ultra-smooth movement. The tonearm’s height-adjustable base and SME-compatible headshell allow easy upgrades and compatibility with a wide range of MM and MC cartridges. Pre-installed is the Audio Technica AT 95E, known for its balanced, detailed sound—ready to enjoy straight out of the box.
RESONANCE-OPTIMIZED CONSTRUCTION
Built on a foundation of solid MDF, the MTT 990’s chassis is engineered to suppress vibration and mechanical noise. Its height-adjustable, decoupling feet and floating power transformer further isolate the unit from unwanted resonance. The 30.5 cm platter, machined from high-density polymer (POM), mimics the properties of vinyl to deliver lifelike playback with low distortion. A felt mat is included, though the platter is also optimized for direct use. The entire turntable is wrapped in an elegant piano black finish, with a removable dust cover included.

A mechanically decoupled counterweight reduces unwanted vibrations, while the adjustable tonearm base height allows precise setup for nearly any cartridge. Inside, the tonearm is wired with premium Mogami cables from Japan, ensuring superior signal transfer.
