The Magnat BASE 8 is designed to deliver clean, controlled, and impactful bass performance from a compact enclosure. Its 20 cm long-throw woofer features a Klippel®-optimized magnet system for accurate cone movement and reduced distortion, even at higher output levels. A vented high-power voice coil improves thermal stability and long-term reliability, while the coated paper cone ensures fast response and natural low-frequency reproduction for both music and movie soundtracks.
DOWN-FIRING BASS REFLEX DESIGN WITH AIRFLEX PORT TECHNOLOGY
The Magnat BASE 8 combines a down-firing woofer layout with a carefully tuned bass reflex system for deep and room-filling bass performance. Dual Airflex ports minimize airflow noise and turbulence, ensuring clean low-frequency reproduction with excellent efficiency. The down-firing design also improves bass dispersion throughout the room while allowing flexible placement in modern living spaces.
EFFICIENT CLASS-D AMPLIFICATION WITH FLEXIBLE CONTROLS
Powered by a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier, the BASE 8 delivers dynamic bass with low heat generation and optimized energy efficiency. Adjustable crossover frequency, switchable phase control (0° / 180°), and active equalization up to 150 Hz allow seamless integration with a wide range of speaker systems. Stereo RCA low-level and LFE inputs provide easy connectivity for both stereo amplifiers and AV receivers.
LOW-RESONANCE MDF CABINET WITH ACOUSTIC DECOUPLING
The rigid MDF cabinet of the Magnat BASE 8 is engineered to minimize unwanted resonance and vibration for tighter, more accurate bass reproduction. Resonance-absorbing feet acoustically decouple the subwoofer from the floor, reducing vibration transfer while improving overall clarity and stability.
